So I live in the country now and don’t have access to broadband at home. I either do everything on my phone or use my phone’s hotspot – which, while generous, is still limited. This has been getting in my way as far as development on Gentoo Studio goes.
But I’m not okay with this, so I’m moving all of my local catalyst files to my hosted server and I’m going to keep development going over ssh instead of my preferred method of local development and testing with pushes to the server.
I was already close to having a new stage4 ready for beta testing, so hopefully I’ll have some news soon.
Keep up the good work!
Yes! Keep it up! Thanks for your efforts!
curious is this project still running?
Yes. It’s been a bit challenging setting aside time for it, but it’s still up and running.
Great thanks for the good work 🙂
I had an installation issue on an Intel NUC with nvme, a test install.
The nvme disks have partition numbers p1..p3 rather than the 1..3 in the two scripts.
Also, I have not found ‘lshw’ in several gentoo media, liveDVD etc.
Thank you. Good point, I should find a way to do test installs with /dev/nvme*
lshw is on system rescue CD, which I highly recommend as a boot medium for installing.
